the fab 5 carrier oils for your essential oils

the fab 5 carrier oils for your essential oils - Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Carrier Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil - local - letsbelocal.ca

Essential oils are most effective when applied with a carrier oil. They are used to “dilute” the essential oil before applying to help “carry” the oils into the skin for maximum benefit. Let's dive into more about carrier oils...

Carrier oils are also beneficial when applying essential oils to a larger part of the body. Like essential oils, different carrier oils have their own unique properties and benefits. It should be noted that carrier oils do not lessen the efficacy of essential oils but rather assist with slowing down the absorption rate, in turn assisting to prolong the need to reapply. Because essential oils are volatile substances (they evaporate quickly), the use of a carrier oil will lessen this effect as they bind the essential oil molecules to theirs.
